Tayama Turbo Oven - Review

!±8± Tayama Turbo Oven - Review

Ever since I've been living on my own, I have to take care of getting food on the table all by myself. I was tired of the same boring old stuff I knew from back in the day when I was living with my parents. So I decided to start looking around for a way to mix things up. I was trying out new recipes and novel ways of preparing food. When I was looking around online for large kitchen appliances to help me prepare my food, I stumbled on the Tayama Turbo Oven. I read some good reviews. My curiosity was peaked and I decided to make the purchase.

Tayama Turbo Oven - Review

Me and my girlfriend are big fans of this turbo oven. It works by sending hot hair from the top around the glass bowl. Any food that lies on the rack gets cooked swiftly. The reason why food gets cooked faster than in a regular oven, is because the cooling down layer of air around the food is constantly being replaced by a stream of hot air. This is how the turbo oven got its name. It's a simple but very effective system. You might even call it genius! As far as large kitchen appliances go, this compact unit can easily compete with larger, regular ovens.

The great thing about the rack design is that fat from cooked food naturally drips from it during the cooking process. It's a real efficient way of draining the grease from foods such as chicken thighs and other kinds of meat. The amount of fat that accumulates is astonishing. If I had grilled or baked the same piece of chicken, most of the fat would've remained inside of it. But the Tayama Turbo Oven cooks it, drains it of its fat and delivers a well cooked piece of chicken that tastes a lot better than its grilled counterpart.

Whether you are preparing chicken, pork chops or steaks in this mobile and compact oven, everything comes out tasting better than with conventional cooking/baking methods. You will find that your chicken and meat will be more crispy and less fatty. The oven can be used to cook as well as bake your food. We took this oven with us on vacation and we didn't miss our regular oven for one minute. We barely use it anymore, anyway. Sometimes, we also bake potatoes in the turbo oven. These come out fluffy and dry. The taste is great. This machine has very user friendly controls as well. Simply turn the dial to the desired temperature and then set the timer!
